I really wanted to support a local business, but I won’t be contacting this company again for my HVAC needs. The tech was very nice and polite, but lack of expertise cost me $430.00 for replacement of a part that didn’t fix my issue. The part in itself cost no more than $40.00 and so labor for 10 minutes of work cost me $390.00. I am so disappointed because I really had high hopes for this company. I called Dr.P’s back hoping they would come back out to try to diagnose the problem again minus the service charge, but they couldn’t guarantee I wouldn’t get charged again. Called another company and within 2 minutes of explaining my issue he went to our indoor unit and showed me a clogged drain was causing our problem. Explained how we can fix ourselves and didn’t force any additional charges on us. Dr. P’s please educated your tech’s so your customers don’t pay for services they don’t need. Not everyone can afford it.
